The scroll on the right shows specific numerical counts for bundles, wreath gestures, and forces of nature used in Mixe rituals. The numerical values are regarded as spiritual beings, ultimately consumed by deities. Susanne aims to bridge scientific measurement and ritual knowledge. How do we perceive and interpret the unseen forces that shape our world? Indigenous wisdom sees all elements as alive and conscious, a view that increasingly is being reconsidered by science.
